International Horticultural Exposition 2014 Qingdao was scheduled to be held in Qingdao, Shandong Province from 25 April to 25 October 2014. The theme of the Expo 2014 is "From the Earth, for the Earth", while the emblem and mascot are celestial beauty scattering flowers" and "Sea Elf-Qingqing" respectively. The Expo site covers a total area of 241 hectares.
