Bleriot XI - the first airplane in Eretz Israel, 1913
French aviator Jules Vedrines landed his Bleriot XI monoplane north of Jaffa, as he competed in an aviation contest promoted by the French newspaper Le Matin. The contest route took aviators from Paris to Cairo.
Fouga Magister - IDF Air Force training plane, 1960
The French Fouga Magister jet-engine training aircraft was the first aircraft to be assembled by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) in Israel. Generations of IDF Air Force pilots were trained on this aircraft, which served the IDF for decades.
Heron I - unmanned aerial vehicle, 1994
This unmanned aerial vehicle was manufactured in Israel, a forerunner in the development and diverse operational use of such devices. The Heron I serves the IDF Air Force as well as other air forces around the world.
A Hong Kong 11.12.13 Cover, with a $1.4 "Declared Monuments in Hong Kong" stamp featuring Tin Hau Temple, Causeway Bay (issued on 20 September 2007). The cover was sent from Hing Fat Street Post Office (the nearest post office to the Tin Hau Temple, Causeway Bay).
Macau Two Macau 11.12.13 covers with 2008 World heritage definitive stamps, sent from the Central Post Office. The one above with stamp featuring the Cathedral, while the one below with stamp featuring Lou Kau Mansion.
The Estonian Olympic Committee was established on December 8, 1923. Then head of state, Dr. Karl Akel, was elected chairman of the organization and he worded the aims of the Olympic Committee as introduction and promotion of physical culture as a result of which the people of Estonia could be healthier, more determined and self-confident.
The history of Wuhan University can be traced back to Ziqiang Institute, which was founded in 1893 by Zhang Zhidong, the then governor of Hubei and Hunan provinces in the late Qing Dynasty. In its early stage of development, the institute changed its name several times before it was officially named National Wuhan University in 1928. In August 2000, the school merged with Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping, and Hubei Medical University to form the new Wuhan University.

The Legislative Council of Hong Kong was set up in 1843 as a colonial legislature under British rule. This year marks the 170th anniversary of the Legislative Council.
