September 21, 2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference). Over the past six decades,the CPPCC has grown into a political organization composed of representatives from all the eight democratic parties, personages without party affiliation, mass organizations, all the 56 ethnic groups, five religions, totalling 34 different circles.
