Founded in 1949, SOS Children's Villages is now established in 132 countries, including Indonesia. The first SOS Children's Village Indonesia was built in Jalan Binoculars Star Lembang, Bandung. Currently, there are 1100 children living in villages scattered at 8 SOS Children's Villages Indonesia. While going through a called Family Strengthening Program, there are more than 6500 children treated in SOS Children's Village Indonesia. With this program, the children taken care by SOS Children's Villages remain living in their biological family.
