On 15 December, the lander of Chang'e 3 and the moon rover Yutu (Jade Rabbit) took photos of each other after their successful separation, marking the complete success of the mission of Chang'e 3. It is the first time that China has sent a spacecraft to make a soft landing and rove on the surface of an extraterrestrial body.
