Ratu Boko is an archaeological site in the form of royal palace of Old Mataram Kingdom from 8th century. According to the history of Old Mataram, Ratu Boko Palace was used by the Sailendra Dynasty (Rakai Pangkaran) long before the time of King Samaratungga (the establishment of Borobudur Temple) and the Rakai Pikatan (the establishment of Prambanan Temple).
