The Shenzhen Universiade Center (including a stadium, a gymnasium, and a natatorium) is the main venue for the games. It resembles a giant crystal
4-4 : Slogan
The slogan, "Start Here", shows the value of Shenzhen as a pioneer city in China's globalization as well as the city's status as the vanguard and experimental field of the nation's reform and opening-up policy.
The 26th Summer Universiade is scheduled to be held from August 12 to 23, 2011, in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Universiade (World University Games) is a grand international sports meeting organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), which offically gave the name at the event's first edition staged in Torino (Turin) in 1959.
