It was a great surprise for me when I got this FDC. My friend affixed five 30 sen stamps from the stamp booklet on my FDC. This set of 5 stamps also have another design (different background) with denomination of 50 sen released in the form of stamp sheet. I very much like this FDC. Thank You very much to my friend for sending such a nice FDC to me.

Shitao (1641 - about 1718), born in Guangxi, was China's famous painter in Qing Dynasty. His original name was Zhu Ruoji. He was known as one of the "Four Famous Monks in Early Qing Dynasty", together with Hong Ren, Kun Can and Zhu Da. Shitao was adept in painting mountains and water, flowers and figures.

Two very nice FDCs. The stamp design are very beautiful. The offical special cancellation and the special cancellation of Shanghai are nice too.

Postal Life Insurance was started in 1884 as a welfare measure for the employees of Posts & Telegraphs Department under Government of India dispatch No. 299 dated 18-10-1882 to the Secretary of State. Due to popularity of its schemes, various departments of Central and State Governments were extended its benefits. Now Postal Life Insurance is open for employees of all Central and State Government Departments, Nationalized Banks, Public Sector Undertakings, Financial Institutions, Local Bodies like Municipalities and Zila Parisads, Educational Institutions aided by the Government etc.

The stamp affixed on the card is a "World Heritage" definitive stamp issued on 31 July 2008. The postal cancellation is a little bit blurred, but I know the postal clerk has tried her best.

Yesterday (23 Mar) was my birthday. I have sent some cards to myself. The card shown above is one of them. This card shows the view of the Main Building of The University of Hong Kong. The stamp affixed shows the view of the very famous Tsing Ma Bridge. I have chosen to cancel it with a Tseung Kwan O pictorial postmark because I live in Tseung Kwan O district.

St. Paul's Church, Chennai was constructed and dedicated to the service of the people on 19 September 1858. Constructed over a piece of land purchased and donated by a benevolent lady Mrs Anne Hill, it was designated by Rev. S. Percival. It took about 3 years to construct this beautiful monument with a brief interruption in 1856 due to severe storms in the area.

15 dinars : The Sidi-Abderrahmane Mausoleum, built in 1696 in the district of Bab El Oued in Algiers, the capital. Sidi Abderrahmane Ethaâlibi (1384-1471) was a thinker and founder of the Ethaâlibia School.

20 dinars : The Sidi-Ibrahim Mausoleum located in El Atteuf (Ghardaïa).
Sheikh Ibrahim ibn Manade, of Berber origin, was a scientist and author of great achievements in the field of social cohesion (12th century).

My first FDC from Algeria and the first registered mail from Africa. I like this nice FDC.

A very nice view card of Prijedor with a very clear postmark. The 0.5KM Republic of Srpska stamp is a "European nature protection" stamp issued on 19 Sep 2006.

Prijedor is the third largest municipality in the Republic of Srpska (one of the two political entities in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina). It is located in the north-western part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the banks of the Sana and Gomjenica rivers, and at the south-western hills of the Kozara mountain
