The Church of the Holy Sepulchre stands on the site where Jesus, according to Christian belief, was crucified, buried and resurrected.

The stamp features the courtyard at the entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The background of the souvenir leaf features Mount Zion and the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
The First Day Cover features the entrance to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre before it was renovated and before the ornamented lintel was removed.

A species of migratory birds, the mandarin duck belongs to the genus Aix of the family Anatidae in the order Anseriformes and is under state second-class protection in China. In the breeding season, male and female mandarin ducks are often seen swimming pairs. For this reason, mandarin ducks are regarded as a symbol of conjugal love.

A nice cover from Timor Leste (East Timor), with a set of two stamps issued by United Nations Transitional Authority in East Timor (UNTAET, 1999-2002). The stamp set was issued on 29 April 2000.
