The novel "Dream of the Red Chamber", also known as "The Story of the Stone", initially contained only 80 chapters and was circulated in manuscript copies until its 120-chapter printed version was published. Its author, Cao Xueqin, spent 10 years writing the novel based on his own experience. The novel depicts the rise and decay of the Jia clan and the love tragedy between Jia Baoyu and LIn Daiyu.

Born on February 2, 1963, Andrej Kiska decided to stand as a candidate for the office of the president of SR as an independent and non-party candidate in 2012. Elected by citizens in the elections of 2014, he assumed his office after the inauguration taking place on June 15, 2014.

The first day cover (FDC) graphically depicts the text of the presidential vow. The FDC postmark is based on a lime leave superimposed by the state emblem.

Hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) are active in dusk and they are omnivores, feeding on insects and various other invertebrates as well as frogs, lizards, snakes and mice – anyone they can kill. Besides, they sometimes also eat berries and fruit. It prefers deciduous and mixed forests as its living environment, as well as parks, gardens and old farm seats. The hedgehog’s area of distribution is in the West and North Europe, including the British Isles, Fennoscandia, Estonia, Latvia and Northwestern Russia. In Estonia it occurs widely throughout the country.

"The Monkey King: Uproar in Heaven" is the first color animated cartoon produced by China. The two-episode movie was shot from 1961 to 1964 by Shanghai Animated Film Studio. It creates the animated image of Sun Wukong, or the Monkey King, a representative character of Chinese Myth. In 2012, the animation had a 3D edition.

Approximately ten million soldiers and seven million civilians died in World War I. From the territory of Slovakia, approximately four hundred thousand soldiers, of which almost seventy thousand were killed, were dressed in a military uniform. Already during the war, the Austria-Hungarian administration authority hired several architects who were designing memorials for the fallen on World War I battlefields. Also the significant Art Nouveau Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič was among the chosen ones. In the Western Carpathians, mainly in the territory of today's Poland, Jurkovič constructed several memorials which inspired not only the postage stamp (Regietów), but also the first day cover (Przełęcz Małastowska). The special postmark is based on the cross from Regietów.
